PROM PARTY 2022

Who We Are

PROM PARTY is an annual prom drive event established by Lynne Marie Styles, a local stylist in Des Moines, IA and supported by Corinthian Baptist Church.

Our mission is to promote self-confidence and individual beauty by providing free prom attire to high school students who cannot otherwise afford them.  Our efforts are made possible through invaluable volunteers, donors, sponsorship and community support.

“As a teen I wasnt able to attend my own prom.  I had two opportunities to go to prom, but I knew prom was not going to be the way I wanted it to be.  I didn’t have the funds to pay for a dress and accessories.  There has always been a void from missing out on my own prom, providing prom attire to the youth is a healing process for me.  I believe every young person deserves the opportunity to be celebrated.  That is why I started the Prom Drive”
